Kevil, KY Jimmy Dale Moss passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1948 to the late Rudy and Dorothy Leigh Moss. He was a graduate of Heath High School and retired as heavy equipment operator at USEC. His hobbies included harness racing (owner and trainer), poker and riding motorcycles. Most important title he held dear to his heart was being called "Papaw."

He is survived by two daughters, Missy Bowers (Kelly Russell) of Paducah, KY and Mindy Hayner (Jimmy) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Cody Cavanaugh (Lauren), Cade Cavanaugh (Rose Kennedy), Hayley Dennis (Cullen). William Stewart and Haven Hayner; five great grandchildren, Wes Hensley, Bryson Dennis, Hoyt Cavanaugh, Aiden Dennis and Tillie Kate Cavanaugh; a sister Betty Robinson (Pat) of West Paducah, KY; two brothers, Lewis Moss of West Paducah, KY and Doug Moss of Kevil, KY.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Richter Moss, a granddaughter, Shelby Moss, his parents, two brothers, Teddy Moss and Harry Moss and a sister Clara Browning.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 4-6 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY.
