LaCenter, KY Jimmy Hart Timmons, of Columbus, KY passed away Tuesday morning May 16, 2023 at Life Care Center of LaCenter, KY.

Jimmy was born on June 16, 1945 in Cairo, Illinois to the late Edwin Hart Timmons and Elma Elizabeth Crews. He retired from Ironworkers Local 782 in Paducah, KY.

He is survived by his sister, Janet Viets and her husband Mark of LaCenter, KY; his brother Joe Timmons and his wife Linda of Erie, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Lisa Teegarden and brother-in-law Hal Teegarden of Dover, TN; nieces, Emily Story, Jennifer Whirlow, Leslie McCormick and Haleigh McMullen; nephews, Jason Timmons, and Jared Teegarden; great nieces, Hadley and Sawyer Story.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janeene Timmons and and infant son, Christopher Dane Timmons.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2 P.M. at the Barlow Cemetery, Barlow, KY.
