Kevil, KY Joe Elbert Hargrove, age 88, pased away Friday, April 13, at Ray & Kay Echstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. He was born December 18, 1927 to Elbert and Anna Madien Hargrove. Joe was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in LaCenter. He retired from USEC/Carbide as a maintenance worker. He was a member of the Antioch Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He and his wife, Wanda were avid square dancers They belonged to the Whirl Ways Square Dancing Club for 27 years.. They spent their winters in Okechobee, FL for 16 years. He was also a farmer. He is survived by one son, Mike Hargrove and wife, Carol of Wickliffe, KY; two brothers, Roy Lee Hargrove of Statesville, NC, and Jerry Wayne Hargrove of Barlow, KY; two sisters, Ruthie McCabe of Lone Oak. KY, and LaWanda Martin of Kevil; and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Several Nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; one son, Gary, his parents, one grandson, J.W. Hargrove, and four sisters. Visitation will be held on May 15, 2016 after 5:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. .Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services for Joe Hargrove will be held at Morrow Funeral Chapel on May 16, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Jamie Lee officiating.
