Benton, KY Katrena Blaine Owens Scott, age 34, passed away at Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

Katrena was born in Paducah, Kentucky, September 16, 1987 to her parents, Cozet Owens Akers and Jimmie Blaine. She was employed at Best Western in Murray, KY. She loved her family and adored her children. Katrena attended Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah, KY.

She is survived by her mother, Cozet Akers of Sharon, TN; two sons Joseph Scott and Logan Scott. a daughter, Americus Scott; five brothers, Jacoby Owens of Glascow, KY, Jacob Owens of Sharon, TN, Jasen Owens of Sharon, TN, Jordan Owens of Sharon, TN, and Jackson Owens of Paducah, KY. A sister McKala Stepp of Lexington, KY.

Katrena was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Blaine Owens.

A private funeral service was held Tuesday, August, 16 at Morrow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Bramlett officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell, KY.
