Kenneth Carter, aged 79, of West Paducah, KY, passed peacefully on September 23, 2026, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center. Born on March 26, 1947, to James Crockett and Mary Estelle Cave, Kenneth lived a life marked by warmth and kindness.

A man who never met a stranger, Kenneth was cherished for his generosity and mentorship, always ready to lend a helping hand. His love for dogs was well-known, and he took great joy in caring for them whenever possible. Professionally, he dedicated many years to a coal refinery in Detroit, Michigan. In his leisure time, he expressed his creativity through sketching and wood etching.

Kenneth is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kelly Carter of West Paducah, KY, and Kimberly Spence of Kalkaska, Michigan. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Lynn Carter of West Paducah, KY, and Richard S. Carter (Shirley) of Calvert City, KY; his sister, Barbara Page of Benton, KY; and his cherished grandchildren, Alicia Carter, Tyler Carter, and Ethan Carter. His family, including several nieces and nephews, along with his beloved dog, Revol, will miss him deeply.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
