Kenneth Allen Grubbs, age 79, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 29, 1944 to his late parents, Rudy and Opal Carter Grubbs.

From a very young age, Kenny fell in love with farming. Whether it was on the family farm or helping a local farmer, Kenny knew the value of hard work and community. He later retired from Jackson Purchase Energy after serving approximately 35 years, where he earned his nickname "Cotton". Kenny's love for the outdoors never faded. He was always on his tractor or riding his Ranger or working in his garden. Kenny was always willing to help others and always had a smiling face. But above all, he loved his family the most! He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Kenny is survived by a son, Corey Grubbs (Michelle) of LaCenter, KY; a daughter, Holley Bell (Kevin) of LaCenter, KY; a half brother, Edward Stephens of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Dustin Bell of LaCenter, KY, Hunter Bell (Carlie) of Kevil, KY and Sabrina Nunan of Paducah, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Robert Bickford officiating.

Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
