West Paducah, Ky. Kenneth Simmons, age 62, died Monday, December 29, at 12:55 p.m. at Baptist Health in Paducah. He was a member of Local # 181 Operating Engineers Union. Kenneth is survived by his father, Herbert Ward Simmons of LaCenter; one son, Michah Simmons of Corona, California; two daughters, Tabitha Howard of Columbus, Ohio and Crystal Simmons Mitchell of Melber, Ky; six Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild; three brothers, Rickie Simmons of Dulzura, California, Eddie Bass of Virginia, and Herby Simmons of Barlow, Ky; and one sister, Jackie Bass of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaVerne Simmons; one brother, Troy Simmons; and one Grandson, Baby David. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Robert Bickford and Rev. Joey Donelson officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31 until funeral time at 2;00 p.m. Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter is handling arrangements.
