LaCenter, KY King Moss, age 78, passed away at his daughter's home in Wickliffe, KY on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born in LaCenter on November 1, 1945 to his late parents, Cecil Bean and Louella (Purcell) Moss.

King retired from Westvaco after 37 years of service where he was employed in quality control. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. King was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. King loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.

King is survived by a son, Chris Moss (Tracy) of Paducah, KY; two daughters, April Moss Shirley of Wickliffe, KY, and Tracy Moss of LaCenter, KY; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Moss, Joshua Moss, Katherine Moss, Kylean Dennis, McKenzie Shirley, Jenna Moss, Sophia Moss and Micah Shirley, four great grandchildren, Phoenix Moss, Skylynne Walker, Atlas Moss, Axis Moss.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Cecilia Moss; a grandson, Ethan Michael Shirley; a brother, Wayne Moss; two sisters, Linda Moss and Margaret Elaine Moss and his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 after 12:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Jude Okeoma officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
