Larry Hecht, 71 of Kevil passed away at his home on Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Larry was born to Everett and Dorothy (Poole) Hecht on July 16, 1948 in Granite City, IL. He was a member of Oceanside Church of Christ in Atlantic Beach, FL. Larry was a Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1975. In his later years he was employed at the Navel Base in Mayport, FL where he was the supervisor over housing.

Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years Sherrin (Colley) Hecht of Kevil, KY originally from Jacksonville Beach, FL.; four daughters, Lisa Hobbs of Jacksonville, FL, Karie Flanagan of Jacksonville, FL, Jocelyn Hill of Jacksonville, FL, and Megan Roberson of Jacksonville, FL.; and eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Dennis Hecht.

A memorial service will be held at Heath Church of Christ in Kevil, KY at a later date with the Rev. Jody Colvin officiating.
