Lela Mae Jett, age 82 of Paducah, KY passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Ray and Kay Hospice Care Center. She was a long time member of Bernard Ridge Church of God where she attended with her parents and her siblings. Lela was a soloist at her church and was a UK Wildcat Basketball fan. She was a member of a Bowling league and the Red Hat Society. Lela is survived by two sons Rick Jett (Patricia) of Naperville, Illinois and Larry Jet (Theresa) of Paducah, KY; three brothers Paul Bernard of Russell Springs, KY, David Bernard of Russell Springs, KY, and Robert Bernard of Russell Springs, KY; one sister Liz Flanagan of Russell Springs, KY; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Clarence Jett, three sisters, four brothers, and her parents Jessie and Crella Bernard. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY with the Rev. John Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
