West Paducah, KY: Leslie Lanier, age 81, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on August 31, 2015, at Superior Care Home in Paducah, KY. Leslie was a member of Grace Valley Baptist Church. He was a member of the local Pipefitters and Steamfitters Union #184 since 1957, He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War Era. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marion Hatler Lanier of West Paducah; two sons, Ricky Lanier of Paducah, and Steve Lanier of West Paducah; three grandchildren, one great grandson and three step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Alice Lanier, five brothers, and two sisters. Visitation for Mr. Leslie Lanier will be Wednesday, September 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 4 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Glen Crowe officiating at Morrow Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
