LaCenter, KY Louise Cates Kuykendall, age 91, died Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 8:40 a.m. at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. Louise was employed and retired after many years of service as Clerk for the city of Kevil, KY. She was a member of Kevil Baptist Church. Louise was a member of the Ballard County Homemakers for many years. She served on the Ballard County Fair Board for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Nelson of Kevil, KY. One granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Si Pete Kuykendall, one daughter Peggy Newton, two sisters, one brother and her parents Carney and Greek Cates. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Rev. Stewart Strickland will officiate. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, KY.
