Kevil, KY Martha Sullivan, age 93, passed away Tuesday January 2, 2024 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, IL surrounded by her loving family, whom she loved dearly. She was born April 14, 1930 in Ballard County to her parents Forrest and Rosetta Moss.

Martha was a faithful member of Kevil Baptist Church and when she was younger went on a mission trip to Russia. She was employed at CTS until it closed and went on to work for Western Baptist Hospital where she retired. Martha was an excellent seamstress and loved to teach the 4-H children. She had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed working in flowers.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Cooper of Paducah, KY and Karen Kelley (Danny) of Paducah, KY; one grandson, Matthew Cooper (Lisa); three great grandchildren, Evey Cooper, Eli Reynolds and Emmett Cooper.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Hester Sullivan, her parents and eight siblings.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at LaCenter Cemetery with Rev. Duane Holland officiating.

Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
