LaCenter, KY Mary Viola Hicks died Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:10 a.m. at Life Care Center of LaCenter. She was born May 13, 1929 in Ballard County to James and Mary Alice Cowan. She was a member of Resurrection Fellowship Church. She is survived by four sons; Crawford Wayne Hicks of Smithland, KY, Dan Hicks of LaCenter, KY, Richard Hicks of LaCenter, KY and Mark Hicks of Vienna, IL; one daughter, Judy Pruitt of LaCenter, KY; two sisters, Mildred Potts of Gage, KY and Linda Cowan of Gage, KY; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Visitation for Mary Hicks will be Sunday, March 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Funeral services will be Monday, March 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Visitation on Monday will begin at 9:00 a.m. going until funeral time at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Richard Hicks, Rev. Crawford Wayne Hicks and Rev. Wendall Gray will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
