LaCenter, Ky. Meldrea Grable, age 96, died on Monday morning at 4:15 a.m. at Life Care Center in LaCenter. Meldrea was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved to go fishing. She is survived by Two Step-children in Alton, Illinois Phillip and Gerry Grable. Two Daughter-in Laws Peggy Carter of LaCenter and Diane Carter of Lone Oak, Ky. Five Grandchildren Lisa Franks of Barlow, Ky., Michael Carter of Barlow, Gary Carter of Barlow, Susan Cate of Jonestown, Texas and Brian Carter of Benton, Ky. Five Great Grandchildren, Krista Kidd of Wickliffe, April Carter of Barlow, Keri Stewart of LaCenter, Abigail Cate of Jonestown, Texas, and Spencer Cate of Jonestown, Texas. Three Great Great Grandchildren, Eli Kidd of Wickliffe, Summer Carter of LaCenter, and Ethan Kidd of Wickliffe. Meldrea was preceded in death by her three sons Frankie, Ronnie and Jimmy Carter, six brothers, one sister, her first husband Orville Gibson Carter, her second husband Warren W. Grable and her parents Frank and Mary Ruth Jennings. Visitation will be Tuesday Evening after 5:30 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. Graveside Services will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Horn officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
