West Paducah, KY Merle Louise Brannan Boulton, age 87, passed away at Lourdes Hospital on Sunday, May 27, 2018 2:20 p.m. Merle was retired from Teleservice after many years of service. She was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church, which her grandparents were founding members. Merle is survived by four daughters; Judith Marie Clayton (Johnny Dan), Bethany Ann Artis of Kevil, KY, Georgia Alane Nichols (Rodney Bruce) of Kevil,KY, Sharon Ruth Beyer (Jerry) of Paducah, KY. One brother Kenneth Myatt of Marion, KY, three sisters Dorothy Knight of LaCenter, KY, Carolyn DeGroot of Knoxville, TN, and Hazel Wurth of Boaz, KY. Nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands C.J. Brannan and Claud Boulton. Two brothers Jesse Myatt and Jimmy Myatt,two sisters Beulah Peyton and Mary Taylor, one grandaughter Stacie Renee Artis and one great granddaughter Angel Renee Travis. Her parents were Janie Mae Louise Romain and James Oakley Myatt. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5-8 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with the Dr. Larry Purcell, Rev. Tim Smith and Jerry Beyer officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
