LaCenter, KY Mildred Inez Edwards, age 98. Died at her home in LaCenter, KY on Saturday January 26, 2019. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Inez is survived by her niece and care giver Elaine Patterson and her husband Roger of Kevil, KY. Two brothers Jerry Elrod of Chicago, Illinois and Donnie Elrod of Miami, Florida. Two sisters Martha Talamantes of Barlow, KY and Jo Anna Burnley of Benton, Ky. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lylberne E. Edwards, one son L.C. Edwards, two brothers Billy Elrod, and Buddy Elrod. Two sisters Elizabeth Luchsinger and Betty Jean Pace. Her parents were Gilbert and Marion McClanahan. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil after 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be Thursday at Kevil Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Rodney Hill officiating. Interment will follow at McKendree Methodist Church Cemetery.
