LaCenter, Ky. Miranda Lee Waldon, age 98, died Sunday morning, January 18, 2014, at 3:45 a.m. at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. She was a member of Bandana Baptist Church. Miranda loved to crochet and made several afghans and throws for residents of Life Care and baby blankets for Hope Unlimited. She loved to visit with her family and friends. Miranda is survived by one nephew, Tom Kinsey and his wife, Sandy of LaCenter, two Brothers-in-Law, Tot Waldon of Bandana and Dot Waldon and his wife, Carol of Pensecola, Florida and several Great Neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Edgar Waldon, two brothers, Owen Bradley Vaughn and William Vaughn, two sisters Dora Etta Steele and,Cora Mae Kinsey and her parents, Ernest and Susie Vaughn. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Stan Waldon officiating. Interment will follow at Needmore Cemetery at Kevil.
