Norma P. Freeman, of Kevil, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center, Paducah, KY. She was 98 years old.

Norma was born on February 27, 1923, in McCracken County, KY to her parents Warner and Iris Smith. She married Esco L. Freeman in 1943. Her very first employment was delivering newspapers on horseback, later she was employed and retired from Central Service. Norma was a member of New Liberty United Methodist Church.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents (Warner P. Smith and Iris Dene Anderson-Smith), her husband, her siblings, Wanda (and husband Herbert), Warner (and wife Dorothy), Jean (and husband Eugene), and Jack (and wife Shirley).

She is survived by her brother John (his wife, Diana, passed away in 2020), many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and her cherished friends, neighbors and extended family, which have been her greatest blessings.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Morrow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Brian Nance officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
