Patricia E. Sutton, neé Johnson, aged 74, of Gage Kentucky, passed away on 8 September 2017 at the Life Care Center of La Center, KY. After graduating from Ballard County High School, Pat married Phillip Sutton on 2 June 1962. She later graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Finance. Pat and Phillip traveled extensively but lived a majority their working lives in Hayti, SD and Republic, MO, raised three sons, and then retired to Gage, KY where they spent the last 18 years enjoying time on the farm with their seven grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and LaVerne Johnson, and two brothers, Joey Dean and Chester. She is survived by her husband Phillip and three sons: Jeffrey (Kelly) of Bois D'Arc, MO, Keith (Xu Qi) of Leesburg, VA, and Kevin (Kelly) of Munford, TN and seven grandchildren Brinnan, Shiloh, Hallie, Miranda, Benjamin, Conner, and Luka. She is also survived by her sister Marta Moss, and brothers Clyde and Kenneth. Pat requested a private burial. The family wishes to thank Lourdes Hospice, Life Care Center of La Center, and family and friends for their care and many displays of kindness these past few months.
