Patsy Sue Mercer Bass, 72, died October 15, 2015 at her home in Barlow, KY. Born February 21, 1943 in Steel, MO, to the late Roy Eugene and Louise Weed Mercer. She lived in Barlow the majority of her life and had many special friends, neighbors and family members. Patsy is survived by one son; Billy Lawson of Portageville, MO; three daughters, Sharon Keown of Blytheville, AR, Terrie Lawson of Greenwood, IN, and Daphne Duncan of Barlow, KY; 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren, and two special friends, Barbara Bolen and Donna Johnson of Barlow, KY. Patsy is also survived by three brothers; Richard Mercer of Sturgis, KY, Mike Mercer of Kevil, KY and Dewayne Mercer of LaCenter, KY; six sisters, Betty Powell of Mounds, IL, Mary Myhatt of Marion, KY, Carolyn Middleton of Cruthersville, MO, Judie Studie of Murray, KY, Alice Bray of Barlow, KY and Robin James of Portageville, MO. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother and father; one brother, Roy Mercer and one great grand-daughter, Aubrey West. Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter, KY. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter, KY, with Cindy Engelhardt officiating.
