Paul Eugene "Skip" Wooten, 71, passed away at 10:40 AM on April 19, 2018, at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Paul was born in Herrin, IL on September 16, 1946, to Henry Edward Wooten and Miriam (Belcher) Messina. Paul is survived by his beloved family, one son, four daughters and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul was a humbled but proud Vietnam Special Forces Veteran and he will be deeply missed by all whom loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Melinda. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Wickliffe, KY Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10:30 AM.
