Wickliffe, KY Ray Menz, beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away in his home on May 18, 2025, at his home in Wicklidfe, KY He was born in Oran Missouri to the late Bill and Hazel Menz

He is survived by his children: Corey (Mandy) and Angie Menz; by his prior wife Carol Cochran; by his granddaughter Braelyn Menz; and by his brothers Fred and Raymond Menz. He is preceded in death by siblings: Mary Parker, Betty Keesee, Bonnie Jansen, Father Anthony Menz, Joe Menz, Roy Menz, and Kathy Culley

Ray was a member of the United States Marine Corp; Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church and Bricklayers Local 23.

He was considered to be one of the best brick and stone masons in the region. He served as a foreman for Columbia Construction and as a local Union Business agent while also working continually on his own homes and construction.

He was well versed in nearly all aspects of building a home He was passionate about the outdoors, horses, and physical fitness He became a skilled horse shoer and enjoyed local horse events.

His determination and will were insurmountable in all of his endeavors He will be missed by his family and friends who find comfort in knowing that he now walks freely again and is strong for eternity Prayers are requested in Lieu of a ceremony
