Barlow, KY Reba Johnston Fondaw passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 103 at her home in Barlow, KY.

Reba was born in Barlow, KY on December 4, 1919 to Bertie Thomas Johnston and Charles Johnston. She graduated from Barlow High School and on July 1, 1941 married Morran Lyndel Fondaw. She was a housewife, talented seamstress and cook. Many enjoyed her tasty cookies, cakes and other desserts. Reba enjoyed having cooking and sewing lessons at her home for the 4-Hers. She was a long-time member of the Barlow Homemakers. Reba became a member of the Barlow United Methodist Church at a young age and enjoyed teaching Sunday School in the youth department and held many officer positions over the years in the United Methodist Women. In her later years she attended Grace Methodist Church in LaCenter until her health prevented her from doing so.

Reba is survived by one daughter, Kathe Fondaw Aydlotte of Barlow, KY; one granddaughter, Kelley Aydlotte Scott of Barlow, KY; two great grandchildren, Lexie Scott of Barlow, KY and Mason Weir of Lexington, KY; one sister, Jean Mauntel of Weldon Springs, MO and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, Burle Johnston and Charles F. Johnston; two sisters, Emalyn Johnston Mack (William Mack) and Bette Johnston Chandler (Jerald Chandler).

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2023 after 11:00 A.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. John Carroll officiating.

Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
