LaCenter, Ky. Robert L. Gibson, age 86, died at his home Monday, December 15, at 10:39 A.M. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Robert loved to play guitar and sing Gospel music. He loved to deer hunt and fish. Robert was a World War II Merchant Marine Veteran. Robert is survived by one daughter, Rita Elaine Gibson Minguss of LaCenter, KY; a long time friend, Louise Pool of Kevil, KY: one brother, Henry Gibson of Wickliffe, KY; one Grandaughter, Tami Eldred of Marion, Texas, three Great Grandchildren, Cody Morris, Jacob Morris and Bailey Eldred of Marion, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gibson, three brothers and three sisters, and his parents, Charles and Oseola Gibson. Memorial Services will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. with the Rev. Richard Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
