Barlow, Ky. Robert Dale Roy, age 73, died Tuesday afternoon, April 28, 2015 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky. Robert was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He was a member of Iron Local # 395 of Hammond, Indiana. Robert was a volunteer fireman for Barlow Fire Department for many years. He loved to fish, hunt and trap. Robert was also a Bee Keeper. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy Roy of Barlow, Kentucky. One Son Mark Allen Roy of Duncanville, Texas, Two Daughters Christine Rene Boeringa and her husband Rich of Manhattan, Illinois, and Megan Elaine Mennenga and her husband Chadd of Pontiac, Illinois. Two brothers David Burnett of Barlow and Charles Burnett of Barlow, three sisters Rochelle Boyce of Big Sandy, Texas, Melody Kearney of Lufkin, Texas and Melinda Burnett of Florida. Five Grandchildren Jake Roy, Zachary Boeringa, Joshua Boeringa, Nolan Mennenga and Graham Mennenga. Several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by two brothers Mike Burnett and Glen Burnett, one sister Lynn Burnett and his parents Edgar and Joy Roy.
