Kevil, Robert Tyler, age 91, passed away at his home in Kevil, KY on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. He was born June 23, 1933, to his late parents; J.R. and Lucy Tyler in Carlisle County.

Robert was a member of Bethel Christian Church. He owned and operated Graves Brothers in LaCenter for over 40 years. He was the best southern engineer that ever lived, and he could fix anything. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and raising black walnut trees. But his greatest joy was his family and his especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sylvia (Solomon) Tyler of Kevil; two sons, Mark Tyler (Neta) of LaCenter, KY and Lance Tyler (Cheryl) of Kevil, KY; a son-in-law-, Dave Satterthwaite of Dexter, KY; three brothers, Ralph Tyler of Arlington, KY, Kenneth Tyler of Arlington, KY and L.H. Tyler (Mary Jane) of Arlington, KY; two sisters, Helen Hocker (Phillip) of Arlington, KY and Betty Rose Ferguson of Arlington, KY; grandchildren, Tammie Poat, Justin Tyler, Eric Satterthwaite, Adam Satterthwaite, Emily Henry, Hannah Tyler, Jessica Lumus, and Phillip Pace; five great grandchildren, Sophie Satterthwaite, Wyatt Satterthwaite, Margo Satterthwaite, Zane Poat and Zachary Poat.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Trina Satterthwaite; one brother, James Tyler; one sister, Dottie Ivy and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
