Kevil, KY Bertha Roberta (Fluffy) Apperson age 75, died at her brothers home in Kevil, KY, Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 2:48 a.m.

Through the years she had been employed at La Oasis, Carl's Market and was a cook and a guard at Ballard County Jail for seven years. Roberta loved to garden and always had a big garden.

She is survived by one brother George Lawrence of Kevil.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband James Apperson and her parents Thurman and Dorothy Lawrence.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
