Russell Lee Tilley, age 91 of Wickliffe, KY passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Southgate Nursing and Rehab in Metropolis, IL.

He was born on January 14, 1932 in Hanover, IN to his parents James and Rilla May Kerr Tilley. Russell was a member of Blandville Baptist Church and a long time member of the Masonic Lodge #625 in Wickliffe, KY. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.

Russell is survived by two sons, James Matthew Tilley of Hanover, IN and Eric Wade Tilley (Cheryl) of Paducah, KY; two daughters, Julie Ann Stewart of Bedford, KY and Rita Mae Swartz of Jacksonville, FL; one step son, Larry Barnes; one step daughter, Midge Miller; two son-in-laws, Emerson Coles of Hanover, IN and Randy Downey of Hanover, IN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Tilley; two daughters, Kim Elaine Coles and Norma Kay Downey, two step sons, Greg Harwell and Michael Barnes; one step daughter, Martha Ellen Chesnut.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 4 - 6 pm.

Masonic Rites and Funeral Service will begin at 6 pm with Rev. Jim Boyd officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at a later date at Kent Cemetery in Kent, IN.
