Kevil, Ky. Sonny Throgmorton (Guy Lynn), age 65, died at 2:03 a.m. Thursday morning at Baptist Health in Paducah. Sonny was retired from USEC where he was employed as an Industrial Fire Fighter and Emergency Medical Technition. He was a member of Bandana United Methodist Church. Fishing was his passion and he also loved to hunt. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Moss Throgmorton of Kevil, KY; one son, Todd Throgmorton and his wife, Janet of Cunninghan, KY; ,two daughters, Susan Ford and her husband, Keith of Iowa, and Christy Walsh and her husband, Todd of Kevil, KY; one sister, Nancy Henson and her husband, Billy of West Paducah, KY; nine grandchildren, Karen, Spencer, and Justin Polivick; Sarah, Jack, and Jake Throgmorton, Makayla Ford, Drew and Drake Walsh, and one great grandchild, Colbie Walsh. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Emily Grief Throgmorton, one brother, Glen Throgmorton and one sister, Frances Throgmorton. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter and Sunday morning after 9:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Bill Miller and the Rev. Joel Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Needmore Cemetery in Kevil, KY.
