LaCenter, KY Stanley Wayne Batts, age 71 went to be with his Lord and Savior September 19 2020.

Wayne retired from Westvaco as a Wood Yard Operator after 41 years of service. He attended Heartland Church. He loved waterfowl and deer hunting. Wayne was a kind hearted man, who loved God, his family and the outdoors. He touched many lives and impacted them with his kind heart and gentle spirit.

He is survived by one son Tim Batts of LaCenter, a daughter Angela Murrell of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. A granddaughter Lindsay Batts of Paducah, KY. Seven sisters, his twin Jane Polivick of Wickliffe, Faye Webb of Barlow, KY, Linda Kerley of Wickliffe, KY, Glenda Batts of Barlow, KY, Rita Renfrow of Barlow, Nita Hodge of Cadiz, KY, and Vianne Menser of Bandana, KY.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents L.M. and Dorothy Batts and his brother Donnie Batts.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2020  from 5pm- 8pm at Barlow First Baptist Family Life Center in Barlow, KY.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:00 am at Barlow First Baptist Family Life Center with the Pastor John Aitken officiating.

Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
