LaCenter, KY Susie Strickland Nutt, age 60, passed away at Life Care Center of LaCenter on Thursday, May 7, 2026. She was born on November 22, 1965, in Hopkinsville, KY to her late parents, Paul and LouNelle Mudd Strickland.

Susie was a member of First Baptist Church of LaCenter and loved musicals. She was very outgoing, never meeting a stranger, and always stood up for the underdog. She worked as a social worker for Alliance Community Services.

She is survived by one son, Graham Harper (Abbby) of LaCenter, KY; two daughters, Paige Plummer of LaCenter, Ky and Michaela Fowler of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Tim Strickland of LaCenter, KY; six grandchildren, Gideon Plummer, Jude Harper, Sam Harper, Harlowe Plummer, Nora Harper and Luke Harper.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, after 9:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of LaCenter.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of LaCenter officiated by Rev. Brad Hall.

Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
