Thelma Marie Holder Schaffner,80 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 8, 2018. Thelma was born on December 31, 1938 in Columbus, KY. She moved the LaCenter, KY with her family when she was just a child. When she passed she was survived by her husband Emanuel "Manny" George Schaffner, who has since passed away on December 19, 2018. They had a long adventurous life together. She was also survived by her brother Robert "Dutch" Holder of LaCenter, KY who has since passed on January 28, 2019. Thelma is survived by five children; Jan, Karen, Joe (Rita), Dan, and David (Renee). Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, one brother Cecil (Reda) Holder of Indianapolis, IN, and one sister in law Ruth Holder of Mooresville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lola Holder; two brothers, William Holder of Mooresville, IN and James (Dorothy) Holder. Joint graveside services for Thelma, her husband Manny, and her brother "Dutch" Holder will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at LaCenter Cemetery starting at 2 pm. Bro. Robert Feezor will officiate. Morrow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
