Kevil, KY Veda Irene Reed, age 90, died on Monday, July 20 2020 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Veda was a member of Heath Church of Christ, she worked as Nursing Assistant in area hospitals For many years and when she retired she did Home Health Care. She loved to quilt.

She is survived by three sons, Alford Ashberger of Kansas City, Kansas, Jerry Ashberger of Kansas City, Kansas And Roger Ashberger of Kevil, KY.

One daughter Virgie Day of Warsaw, Missouri. One sister Evelyn Kennedy of Kentucky. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Veda was preceded in death by her husband Orgil Reed, five brothers, four sisters and her parents John and Orpha Mae Bridges.

There will be no services. Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter is handling arrangements.
