Kevil, KY Virgil Earl Holman, age 91, died at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY Friday evening, February 15, 2019 at 6:25 p.m. Virgil was a member of First Baptist Church of LaCenter, KY where he served as a deacon for many years. He retired from the Air Force after 27 years of service. He was employed at Martin Marietta for many years and retired from there. Virgil is survived by his wife of 70 years Lawanda Holman of Kevil, KY, one son; Gregory Holman of Loveland, Colorado, One daughter Debbie Riley of Nashville, TN, one brother Duon Holman of New Jersey, one sister Jeanelle Montgomery of Knoxville, TN and one granddaughter Shantez Riley of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by two brothers Forest Holman and Dalton Holman; one sister Pauline Dickey and his parents Elmer and Lois Reeves Holman. Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter,KY. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Steward and Rev. Mark Bond officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to First Baptist Church of LaCenter, KY.
