Barlow, KY. Virgil Lynn Mullins, age 69, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 12:36 a.m. at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was a member of the Laborers Union # 1214. Virgil retired after being employed by API Construction in Calvert City, KY. He was a Barlow City Council member for two terms. Virgil is survived by his wife of 35 years Nora Mullins of Barlow, KY., Two sons Gil Byers and his wife Tina of Pekin, Illinois, and Chad Byers of Culversville, KY. Three daughters Bambi Teague and her husband Doug of Cartersville, GA., Brenda Poston and her husband Ronny of White GA., and Lelonie Luft and her husband Mark of Pekin, Illinois. Six brothers Tim Mullins, Bob Mullins, Gerald Mullins, George Mullins, Ricky Mullins and Curt Mullins all of Detroit, Michigan. Two sisters Renee Mullins of Florida, and Whinney Mullins of Detroit, Michigan. Thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Virgil Mullin.
