LACENTER, KY: Virginia Ilene Hall Renfrow Hinkle, age 97, passed away October 30, 2017 at Life Care Center of LaCenter. She was born May 3, 1920 in Bandana, KY to Frank Wolford Hall and Clara Elizabeth Payne.

She was employed by Ballard County School System as a cook for many years. She was a member of Eastern Star at Barlow. She was a member of LaCenter First Baptist Church. Her hobbies included hooking rugs, quilting, working in ceramics, gardening, sewing and painting. The greatest gift she ever gave her children was knowing Jesus.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Anna) Renfrow of LaCenter, Roy (Lynn) Renfrow of LaCenter, and Frankie (Darlene) Renfrow of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Nancy Lee (Pat) Smithson of Paducah; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She loved them all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wolford and Clara Elizabeth Payne Hall. After the loss of her first husband, Bailey David Renfrow, she remarried Rieke Liem Hinkle, and he gave her a happy life. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers, two grandsons, Dale Renfrow and Casey Smithson and one great granddaughter, Rhonda Gibbs.

Visitation for Virginia Ilene Hall Renfrow Hinkle will be Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. at LaCenter Cemetery, LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Mark Sickling officiating.
