Barlow, KY- Walter F. Wright, age 97 passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was a member of Barlow First Baptist Church and a member of the Antioch Masonic Lodge #332. Walter served in Army and was a proud WWII Veteran. He retired from South Central Bell after 33 years of employment as a switchman and had a passion for horses.

Walter is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bettie Wright of Barlow, KY; one daughter, Whitney LeFevre and husband Jim of Kevil, KY; three grandchildren, Hayden LeFevre and fiancée Molly Stokes of Murray, KY, Mason LeFevre of Abilene, TX and Emma LeFevre of Kevil, KY; one niece, LaVaughn Watson and one nephew, A.D. Wright.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Wright and Minnie Pryor Wright and one brother, Arthur Wright Jr.

Visitation for Walter will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter beginning at noon.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Fickes officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
