Paducah, KY Clarence J. Flowers of Paducah formerly of Kevil, died at 1:12 am on Wednesday morning at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
He was born October 27, 1929 to his parents Clarence Cleveland and Hallie B. Rice Flowers. He was 90 years old. Clarence was a member of Heartland Church. He was an Army Veteran. He retired after 25 years of service from Power Construction in Chicago, Ill. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union # 10.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 66 years Alice Penn Flowers of Paducah, four sons; Michael J. Flowers of Kevil, KY, Steven Lee Flowers of Tucson, Arizona, Dana E. Flowers of Reidland, KY and Duane Thomas Flowers of West Bend, Wisconsin. Two daughters; Melanie Heun of Benton, KY and Tina Williams of Vine Grove, KY. One brother Robert Flowers of Kevil, KY. Thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and his parents.
Funeral Services will be Monday, February 10 at 12:00 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY. With the Rev. Nathan Joyce officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Bayou Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, February 10 from 11:00 am until funeral time at 12:00. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lourdes Hospice P.O. 7100 Paducah KY 42002-9961.
