Darlene M Albertson

LaCenter, KY, Darlene Albertson, age 70, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on July 27, 2025, at Mercy Health Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born on January 12, 1955, to her late parents, Thomas and Virginia Carson Ming.

Darlene was a strong willed, never met a challenge she couldn't face, always put others first, lover of life, tender hearted kind of woman. Whether she was working in her garden, riding her Harley Davidson, hiking or going on 4-wheeler rides with Bubby, she always loved being outdoors. She loved to can and was a phenomenal cook. Darlene loved to go thrifting for antiques, listen to rock-n-roll music, or spend time with her daughter at K-9 Design as she loved on all the dogs while being groomed. Her greatest pride and joys were her family. She loved all of her family and always wanted the best for them all, but she especially cherished her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Deidra Williams (Eric) of Harrisburg, Illinois and Miranda Emerson (Terry) of LaCenter, KY; three brothers, Steve Evans of Metropolis, Illinois, Dwayne Evans of Golconda, Illinois and Tommy Ming of Madisonville, Tennessee; five sisters, Tina Thomas (Jim) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Elaine Evans of Barlow, KY, LaDonna Smith of Kevil, KY, Lisa Crabtree of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Teresa Solomon of Oakdale, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Hayden (Austin) Nelson, Dalton Rorer (Chanel), Ian Meshew, Brice Emerson and Ansley Morehead; and one great-grandchild, Callie Nelson.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation services will be held on July 31, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on July 31, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ryan Baker officiating.

Interment will follow at Oscar Community Cemetery.
