Derrell Sullivan

Kevil, KY Derrell Sullivan, age 59, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah. He was born October 24, 1964 in Paducah, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Micah Sullivan of Kevil, KY; his parents, Wayne and Phyllis Sullivan of Kevil, KY; three daughters, Morgan Sullivan of Dallas, TX, Taryn Ballard of Wickliffe, KY and DeShanna Arington of Brookport, Ill; two brothers, Jeff Sullivan (Marsha) of Kevil, KY and Brent Sullivan (Tracy) of Kevil, KY; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two nephews and one niece.

Darrell was baptized as a young man and was a member of Newton Creek Baptist Church. He was employed as an Iron Worker for a time, but also farmed most of his life. He never met a stranger, he visited the neighbors more than a Baptist Preacher. Derrell loved to visit with the older generation.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Woodville Cemetery with Courtney Ashley officiating.

Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
