Diana Carroll Linn Dye was born March 7, 1967, in Paducah, Kentucky and left the troubles of this world behind on July 11, 2020, at the age of fifty-three years.
Diana attended John Marshall High School in San Antonio, Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then attended Murray State University, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree. She was very intelligent and made friends easily through the years. In her free time, Diana loved to read. She was very knowledgeable about pop culture. She also enjoyed all genres of music, but was especially fond of the early 1990's bands such as "Stone Temple Pilots'" and "Matchbox 20."
At the time of her passing, she had been attending Lebanon First Assembly.
She is survived by two sons, Nick Whitten and his wife Sarah of Joplin, MO and David Whitten and his wife Ashley of Monett, MO; five grandchildren, Alexander, Alyssa, Zachary, Zoey and Camryn; her mother, Carolyn Coleman of Buford, GA; and one sister, Stephanie Joles and her husband Scott of LaCenter, KY; other relatives and friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her biological parents, Gene and Valerie Linn and her grandparents.
Graveside service will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at Sharpe Church of Christ Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
