Herbert Ward Simmons Sr.

Herbert Ward Simmons Sr., 96, of Barlow, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at his sons residence. He was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181. He is survived by two sons, Rickie Dale Simmons of California and Herbie Simmons Jr., of Barlow, KY; one brother Freddie Simmons of Wickliffe, KY, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luola Simmons; his parents, Herbert and Eula Ward Simmons; two brothers, Doris Lee Simmons and Billy Dean Simmons; and two sons, Troy Simmons and Kenneth Michael Simmons. Visitation will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center, KY. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Bickford officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
