Roger Allcock, age 73, passed away at his home on Friday, January 2, 2025. He was born on February 3, 1952, in Paducah, KY to his late parents, Floyd Victor and Dorothy (Plamp) Allcock.
Roger was a member New Hope Baptist Church. He was employed 35 years with USEC before retiring and served as Union Steward for several years. Roger was a member of North Ballard Masonic Lodge #537. He was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, and squirrel hunting. He was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan and enjoyed growing a big garden every year.
He is survived by his wife Martha Sue Wilborn of LaCenter, KY; two brothers, Eddie Allcock (Donna) of Barlow, his twin, Ronald Allcock (Judy) of Barlow, KY; two nieces , Jennifer Dillworth (Alan) of Barlow, KY; Gena Karnes (Mike) of Paducah, KY nephew, Jason Allcock of Oscar, KY; three great nieces, Zoe Dillworth, Kate Dillworth of Barlow, Hannah Daugherty ( Nick) two great nephew, Nathan Karnes and Ethan Karnes; three great great nieces, Blakely Daughtery, Scottie Daughtery and Ella Allcock; three great great nephews, Will , Sam, Easton Allcock; two stepdaughters, Alicia Gulley (Duane) of Mount Vernon, IL; Melissa Moore (David) of Buncombe, IL; grandchildren and families, Brittany Cole of Metropolis, IL, Megan Moss (Blaid Moss) Mount Vernon, IL, Michael Gray (Ellie) of Mount Vernon IL, Brooklyn Fritz (Aaron) of Metropolis, IL, Miranda Shipley (Caleb) of Carlisle, IL, MaKayla Cole of Carbondale, IL and Kaylee Cole of Buncombe, IL; nine great grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Masonic Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Visitation on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at New Hope Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Guy Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, KY.
