Aimee (Murphy) Haney

Kevil, KY Aimee Murphy Haney, age 63, passed away, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY with her son and her best friend by her side. Aimee was born in Nashville, TN on February 13, 1961 to the late Vernon and Robbie Appleton Murphy.

Aimee will be remembered for her contagious laugh and love to all those she encountered. She was a beloved friend and prayer warrior to many and she never met a stranger. Aimee was a graduate of Ballard Memorial High School class of 1979. She was a member of Grace Church of LaCenter. Aimee worked for Ballard County Ambulance Service for several years and spent many years employed at Bell Monument Company where she was able to brighten the days of those who had lost loved ones. She had a love for all dogs, but most of all, Aimee loved her family. Matt, Ashley and the grandkids were her pride and joy.

She is survived by one son, Matt Haney (Ashley) of Barlow, KY; one sister, Jennie Teasley (Gary) of Cunningham, KY; four grandchildren, Abby Hargrove, Raegan Cochran, Landyn Rain Haney and Hawk Haney.

Aimee was proceeded in death by her parents, Vernon and Robbie Appleton Murphy.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center from 11:00 am till service time.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center at 3:00 pm with Bob Morrow officiating.

Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery in Barlow, KY.
