Ann Marie Garrett

West Paducah, KY, Ann Marie Garrett, age 81 passed away peacefully into her Saviors arms on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. She was born on September 11, 1943, in Cairo, Illinois, to her parents, Charles and Lorene Borden.

Ann was a member of Grace Valley Baptist Church. She was a phenomenal cook and in her spare time she loved putting puzzles together. Ann was an avid reader with a very inquisitive mind that loved to research anything she came across. Her biggest pride and joy and of utmost importance were her family, whom she loved very dearly.

Ann is survived by one son, Douglas Wayne Garrett (Deidra) of West Paducah; one daughter, Tanya Yvonne Herring (David) of West Paducah; one sister, Marilyn Pickett (Malcom) of Barlow; five grandchildren, Jeremiah Johnson, Aaron Garrett, Kyndra Bullmer, Allison Garrett, Kylie Herring; and three great-grandchildren, Weston Garrett, Lelsie Garrett and Colton Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dickie Garrett; two brothers, William Borden and Charles Ed Borden; and her parents.

Visitation services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery in Barlow, KY.
