Annie Wilma (Malone) Steele

LaCenter, KY- Annie Wilma Malone Steele, age 88 went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday January 8, 2024. She was born October 28, 1935 to her late parents, JB and Annie Malone.

Annie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and attended regularly every opportunity she had. She was a graduate of Ballard Memorial High School. Annie enjoyed quilting, crocheting and beautiful flowers. She was a member of the American Quilters Society and attended the Paducah Quilt Show almost every year. Annie loved her family and would go out of her way to do something nice for someone else.

Annie is survived by two children, Cary D. Steele and Lori (Brad) Russell; one brother, Theron (Byrene) Malone of Dearborn, MI; one sister Glenda (David) Campbell of Florence, AL; several nieces, nephews, great - nieces and great - nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, JB and Annie Malone of Tuscumbia, AL; her husband, Robert H. Steele; one son, Robert Stanley Steele; two sisters Vera (Johnny) Morgan of Tucumcari, NM and Wylodene (Kenneth) Walker of Bertrand, MO; one brother, Chesley (Nadine) Malone of Tuscumbia, AL.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

Memorial service will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Bickford officiating.

Interment will take place on a later date at LaCenter Cemetery.
