Betty Parker

Bandana, KY Betty parker passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Life Care Center in LaCenter. She was born in Kennett, Missouri on January 12, 1930.

Betty loved her country and was very patriotic, she prayed for her country every day. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of Bandana Baptist church. Betty loved her family and was all about celebrating each one's birthday. Betty was a cheerful giver and was especially drawn to those in need and children. She loved to listen to Gospel music and was an avid reader. Betty enjoyed all animals especially her pet dogs. She loved to travel with her husband Harlon. Her employment for many years was Manager at Teleservice.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Parker (Phyliss) of LaCenter, KY; a daughter, Beverly Denton (Lynn) of Barlow, KY; four grandchildren, Neil Denton (Annie), Tracy Courtney (Jonathon), Beau Parker (Lacee), and Chelsea Williams (Cody); seven great grandchildren, Bonnie Denton, Lyndon Courtney, Nolan Courtney, Daniel Denton, Hasting Parker, Sadie Courtney, and Anderson Parker.
 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Harlon Parker; sister, June Danner; two great granddaughters.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Beau Parker officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
