LaCenter, KY Carolyn Wildharber, age 85, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Life Care Center of LaCenter, KY. She was born on October 13, 1939 in Kevil, KY to her parents, Murell and Genie Mae (Skinner) Seaton.
Carloyn was an amazing lady who loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of Oscar Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for many years. She also taught at Lockport Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. Carolyn retired from Illinois Municipal School System and was employed at LaCenter City Hall as the City Clerk for nine years. She enjoyed gardening in her flowerbed, working in her yard and was a phenomenal cook. James and Carloyn had many fun years together belonging to the Model A Club and the Antique Tractor Club. Every summer they took a family vacation where they would camp all over the United States.
She is survived by a son, James Dale Wildharber (Melecia) of Oscar, KY; a daughter, Lisa Gail Morgan of St. Louis, MO.; two grandsons, Jakob R. Morgan of Columbia, MO and Samuel J. Morgan of Columbia, Illinois; two brothers, Herbert Seaton of Murray, KY and Kenneth Lynn Seaton (Pam) of Kevil, KY; a sister, Ruth Ann Utley of Dixon, KY.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Wildharber; a granddaughter, Nicole Wildharber, two brothers, Paul Seaton, Robert Seaton and her parents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ryan Baker officiating.
Interment will follow at Oscar Community Cemetery.
