Cecilia Lynne (Moody) Moss

LaCenter, KY Cecilia Lynne Moss, age 75, of LaCenter passed away Sunday morning, September 24, 2023 at Life Care Center in LaCenter. She was born to her parents, James and Mary Katherine O'Nan Moody on October 7, 1947.

Cecilia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and gardening. She worked for a time as a Registered Nurse before starting a family. She loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, King Moss of LaCenter; a son Christopher (Tracy) of Paducah; two daughters, April Moss Shirley of Wickliffe and Tracy Moss of LaCenter, KY; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Moss, Joshua Moss, Katherine Moss, Kylean Dennis, McKenzie Shirley, Jenna Moss, Sophia Moss and Micah Shirley; four great grandchildren, Phoenix Moss, Skylynne Walker, Atlas Moss and Axis Moss.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Michael Shirley and her parents.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
